Default LS1 Crank - No start condition

Hey guys, looking for any help I can get

I have a BS3 setup and so far this is my situation:

I have adequate fuel pressure, maintained while cranking
I am getting no crank rpm while logging/viewing the tuning screen while cranking over, therefore i am getting no injector firing/spark (does that seem correct? if the crankshaft doesnt seem to be changing angle, it wont fire the injectors/spark plugs?)

Im getting voltage at the plug for the ckp sensor (but not sure about output signal, going to try and test that now)

if anyone can tell me where to look, id really appreciate it.

Ok update:
Cranks, and fires (weeoo) but doesn't actually catch and make it to idle.

Im thinking my timing is off? Im getting cranking and general start up noises, and then after a few cycles pretty solid back firing - and then I stop.

load in psi, if that makes any sense. I feel like in the 600 rpm/ -9-5psi range it should be 17ish?

If someone could help me out with this thatd be great. I assume the BS3 interpolates data less than the axis scales, but i cant seem to find where i can observe/change the spark below that.
