Default Fuel tank pressure wire for wideband in HP Tuners

I have hooked up my wb through the erg, but can't figure out to enable the erg in the PCM. For some reason it want let me. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I hooked it to the A/C wire, works but it turns my fans on and idles the car up.
It's telling the PCM the A/C is on.
We'll now I'm going to use the fuel tank pressure wire.
I was wondering what's it going to tell the PCM. I think it just uses the pressure signal to purge the EVAP port at the intake.
Does anybody know exactly what's its purpose?

I don't have erg, a/c or using the fuel tank pressure sensor on the car anymore.
100% racecar.
Thanks

Use EGR signal, it's the one which doesn't mess anything. Plenty of tutorials to get you started

I've read them all, still can't figure out how to enable the erg.
So I'm going to use the fuel tank pressure now.
Just wanted to know the side effects of this option.

I'm logging my wideband through fuel tank pressure. Works great. No side effects.

Is this an unused or unneeded PID for most applications?

Link to some reading would be greatly appreciated as this is the first I've heard of it.
