Hi I hope I'm asking this in the right spot. I am looking to do a a4 to m6 swap in my 98 t/a. I'm trying to by a donor car and just swap Trans out and the resell the donor as an a4. My question is is it possible or how down you change the m6 computer to work with the a4? Can it just be reflash ed or what is needed? By the way I am really attached to my car that's why I haven't just sold it and bought one and I'm trying to keep costs low

The pcm's are the same as long as both cars are 99-02 and one is not a 98, you can just flash the M6 pcm over to a A4.

Ask again when you actually know the year of the donor car. Also consider the rear end gear ratio differences between A4 and M6 cars.
