Default How do I disassemble 6l80/90 connector?

Hello.

I need to disassemble the 6l80/90 connector that is on my harness. We haven't been able to communicate with the TCM, and found that the bus wires are backwards.

I think this white clip is the retainer for the pins, but I can't seem to get it to pop out.

Any ideas?

looks like an ampseal connector,
If it is, just pop the white thing sideways, and the wires pull out

Tried that. It only moves about 1/8 of an inch and doesn't unlock the pins.

The side with the small white section only needs depressed. NOT THE BIG SIDE with about all of the white expose. Then you need a de-pin tool with a plunger to de-pin the connector. Sorry I don't have a part number available for the tool.

Thanks.

We figured out how to push the white section out of the way by pushing on the small tabs, but then realized we needed a tool to de-pin it. So, wanting to get moving, we cut the wires, swapped and soldered them back. Not how I wanted to do it, but it worked.
