Thanks for the reply. The heads are 64cc with 2.02 intake and 1.575 exhaust. The cam is Advertised Duration 285/292, Lift .560/.560, Lobe Sep. 114. I am reading the book, when I have a better idea what I am doing, I am going to see what I can get figured out.

Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I spent 6 hours trying to use hptuners guided by the book Tuning the Right way and made it
absolutely no where. I kind of expected a step by step guide that would be atleast moderately easy to follow. Not at all the case, I read the book and got everything ready to dive in today. I was screwed from the first minute, none of the screen shots and instructions matched up to my software, and the book doesnt state anywhere what version of software they used. I really wouldnt want to use old software but i was desparate and tried 3-4 versions and still had no match.

If the screen shots are different, they may have based the book on the 2.24.x version of the software. Version 3.2.x came out several months ago and is probably what you're using. From what I understand 3.x is a complete rewrite of the application and I know that none of the screens in the scanner look the same. The functionality and logic is there, but the look and locations are different.

The screens may be different, but the tables and concepts are the same...
try not to get stuck in step-by-step, but instead try to understand the concepts, fueling modes and interactions between tables.

Log and tune
I am making a little progress, It is running much better, accelerates nicely at less than half throttle, falls on it face at wot. It also dogs out trying to powerstall. I have attached my log and config files, if someone could take a look at it I would appreciate it. I am having difficulty including my wide band on the log, I am not sure if it is a problem with the mpvi, the wideband or some configuration in the software, hopefully that wont hinder recomendations. Thanks

I was trying to run maf, but have been thinking lately to switch to sd. My biggest problem is that I have no idea what I am doing. Thanks for the link. I hope that will help, I purchased a book, but everything is based for 2.24 and 3 is so much different I am getting lost easy.
