Default ECM problems

hello, I have a 2000 LS1 Camaro with a 12200411 ecm that went bad. I locally found for sale a 12200411 from a 2003 Corvette. After researching this ecm
I asked the seller what Throttle Body the motor had. He Says he doesn’t remember (BS) if it was a drive by cable or by wire. Anyhow all the info I’ve found on line, like the schematic pinouts on the 2003 ecm, point to it being a drive by wire ecm. (pin 14 & 15 on the blue connector are “Throttle Actuator Control Serial Data” ) I can't find a TPS pin for my application(2000 ecm pin 8 and pin 60 Blue connector). My Question, can this ecm be reprogram to work by changing the vin to my Camaro or is this useless? If it can’t be reprogrammed can I use another ecm of the same part serv number and year as mine, even from a truck or other vehicle.
thanks to all in advance.

A 2000 F-body would have used a 09354896 PCM from the factory If it has a 12200411 then someone in the past has changed it. Those were used in many GM vehicles including trucks, and cars form 2001 to 2002 and vettes in 2003. The operating system programmed in it will determine what it can control as far as DBW or cable throttle body. Both PCMs I listed are Red/Blue connector computers and any 99-02 F-body operating system can be flashed into either one by someone with the right equipment and knowledge how to do it.
