Default Question for those who tune your own cars.

For those of you who use LS1edit or HP tuners to tune the car for yourselves for mods such as heads/cam and headers, how do you do it? Can you do it on the street by punching it and logging, or do you need to go on a dyno? Do you need a wideband o2? I need to tune my car for heads/cam, headers, and a 4000 stall. Would I be able to do it myself if I purchased HP Tuner and a labtop? Most of the shops that I have called dont have any openings for dyno tunings for over 30 days..thanks

Default

you can get it very close on your own, it just takes a lot of time.
