sorry, i didnt have much time to post earlyer.
i went to andvance auto this morning after the SES light came on. they pulled code:

PO430 ---CATALYST EFFICIENCY BELOW THRESHOLD (Bank 2)

2 weeks ago the SES light came on and it was:
SYSTEM RUNNING RICH (bank 1 & Bank 2)

do you think these problems are related?
