Help I got extremely low timing

Unhappy Help I got extremely low timing

I did H/C and had it tuned on the Mustang Dyno,My timing was at 28-29 6000-6500.Now tonight I auto Tapped it and in colder weather ,I got a best of 21.5 Degrees of adv.@6400 rpms I Had NO KR .Can a bad plug or Wire cause lower Timing What do I need to look at?

Thats pretty weak. Are you getting knock retard? I can only think of a couple things:
1) you got screwed
2) the tuner played it too safe
3) you got screwed

Low octane timing table ?

Try putting in a few gallons of race gas on top of a tank and see if the timing picks up.

What plugs are you running?

I had to switch to TR-6's with my setup.

Hey John Thanks for the reply,I do Have TR6 gapped @ .045 just like Jayson @ MTI said to do.Bad30th I had this problem last week ,and my tuner thought That the low octane table was it,But when he checked it out it wasnt it He thought It maybe had to do with the Torque management ,because I swapped converters and went to a SS4000 so he said the puter thought the tranny was slipping due to a bigger verter which in turn drops timing.It made sense to me

Yeah, that would definitely do it. Uhm...shouldn't he have removed that?
