Default Computer can learn?

I just got my car back with the mods in my sig. They said it won't run correctly until the computer learns the new mods. Is this normal?

Next week, I'm going back and getting the gears put in and at that time they will use a predator to tune it correctly.

yup... when you disconnect the battery or the PCM looses power it needs to relearn... it learns how much fuel to add/remove at various FTCs , as well as other things... after a hundo or so miles it should be all set

I just drove it about 45 miles. Very uneven jerky idle. Feels very sluggish. Shifts very early.

Got on it once. No power at all. It shifted @4,000 into 2nd and 3rd.
