Default P0123

I installed a LS6 intake/ported tb about two months and have had no problems. About a month ago I accelerated from 65-90 on an open stretch of highway, came back down, and about a minute later, the light pops on. The ASR also wouldn't turn back on. I went home, shut the car off, turned it back on after a few seconds, and the ASR worked right then, but still got SES. I disconnectd the battery and it reset fine. Well yesterday I accelerated under WOT in the same stretch just to see if it would do it again, and it did. I went to Advance, and they found this code. I have read the normal GM rant on this here:

and found this informative post here:

where critter basically said the tb is opening too far and sends too much voltage. Is this the case for sure w/ no other causes possible. It only happens under wot, so it makes sense. WIll this hurt anything? Any hurt performance? What can I do to fix it? THanks!
