The enhanced io comes with one pigtail (i have one) i guess you would order extra ones if you plan on setting one up in a car permeantly.

The pigtais are used to hook up devices into the enhanced io .That is a wide band setup or a warning light or shift light(just three examples) .The instructins are in the HPT VCM suite help file in the Connecting to the vehicle section.

Thanks for the info. What is the difference between the enhanced io and the regular free io?

The enhanced io has the inputs/outputs for wideband set-ups e.t.c and the standard one doesn’t , the enhanced one also is a $150 option which will be on top of the price for VCM Suite.
