Default cold start surge

Hey guys. I'm still trying to iron out some wrinkles on my tune after the cam install. What do I need to do if it starts great on cold starts initially but then within a few seconds it starts surging 100 rpm or so until it warms up a bit? It also seems like it has a hesitation when still in open loop. It's kinda hard to take off from a stop b/c sometimes the rpms just drop when I"m letting out the clutch so I have to quickly stab the clutch to keep from killing it. Hot starts are perfect. thanks

is your cold start up timing table helping you out at first then the decay isnt lasting long enough? maybe you just need to add a couple of degrees of timing, or make the decay last longer.. ?? just a thought.
