Default new to tuning

is there a tuner available that basicly runs itself? or do u need to be able to exactly what your doing when using one?

i think thats hptuners 1.6 that is gonna work with the EIO & wideband to auto-tune based on target wideband air fuel ratios. Bout as close you are gonna get. The rest you gotta read read read and try try try to get the low load/startup down, etc. It's been well documented, the theory is the same for just about every car manuf. out there.

It's always a good idea to know what you're doing???

Even with HPT's new v1.6 that doesn't mean just start pushing buttons...

there was some tuner on ebay for 500, dont remember what it was, but it was telling about how you dont need any experience with tuning, yes it is ebay, and i dont think i would spend $500, but it claimed to gain around 20whp just by auto recalibrating the air/fuel ratio...

if you're willing to spend $500 and you dont feel like learning how to tune yourself, just find yourself a good tuner, they should tune your car up for around that same price, and its a custom tune fit to your needs, not some generic tune
