Default what does changing the inj offset vs volts do?

I have racetronix 42s in my car, but i had the stock inj offset values, and today i put in the correct ones, but i didnt notice/feel anything diff... what does this do?

I think that's an adaption the pcm will make, if your battery starts running low, so the car will still run, without running lean and hurting the engine. It bumps up the inj pulsewidth to account for the lower voltage.
