Default Tuning a hybrid/conversion

I have a 2002 ls1 that I installed in a 84 Delta 88 and I am looking for suggestions as to what type of tuner or software would be best for me to buy. I am mostly going to be using it for eliminating things like the rear o2 sensors, AIR & evap. The only mods are cold air intake and longtube headers.
Any input would be appreciated.

Should be no different than tuning any other type of vehicle. You could have someone tune them out locally or get a mail order tune (where you send the PCM to them). That would be cheaper than buying a software package, which is the other option.

I use HPTuner. If you just want to get those things deleted and don't want to do any kind of tuning; a mailorder tune might be all you need. Speartech does this, as well as many other sponsors.

(Your car sounds cool. Got any pics?)

Here is a link to some pics of the car. I am sure there will be more mods down the road but I am a little intimidated by the tuning sofware mainly becouse I have never seen it used.
