Default Question on OBDII and a/c delete

If I ground the wire that runs from the a/c refrigerant pressure sensor and the compressor control, will it give me a system ready reading?

I want the emissions test to view this has ready. I think the sensor reads either low or high pressure from the compressor and right now (because there is no pressure in the system) it's status is not ready. So if I cut that wire and ground the end coming from the compressor I should get a ready status on my test? I hope.
