gauge cluster swap question

Rpms can be recalibrated with a Dakota Digital tach adapter.
Fuel gauge and the other gauges are going to be an issue.
The fuel gauge ohms range changed from 98 to 99. Not sure how it changed from 97 to 98 though.
The 99+ use a "serial bus/data" feed from the pcm. (or something exotic like that).
Just curious, why are you wanting to do this swap? If it's for the speedometer, you'd probably be better off seeing if Granatelli or somebody could rework your speedo.

If you guys are looking for a dakota digital tach adapter, I have one for sale..
Swapping clusters is a mess.. some things work some don't.. need to look at the wiring and the signals that go to each gauge in the cluster to determine what will not work.
Fueling is big change between 98/99.
Oil level signals..
ECT big change between 98/99..
