bad solenoid or bad wiring ... Someone had made a post a while back where this wire had hit the header and melted through .. he was getting a bunch of other codes too though...

Most likely bad solenoid... but trace the wires from the trans up to the PCM and see if any are broke

if 99-02
44
LT GRN
1652
Reverse Inhibit Solenoid Control

on the RED connector

if 98
42
LT/GRN
Reverse Inhibit Solenoid Control
on the RED connector

See the sticky above about SES lights, 2nd URL in that post has detailed diagnostic troubleshooting for the SES

That happened to me twice to me in my 98 z28 , the first time and after along search for this problem I discovered that the 1 an 3 shift solenoids were not working .

The second time I discovered that 2 pinouts on the PCM were bend so i fix them out and everything went great.

sometimes this could appear if there is something wrong with the harness

Question

So based on this info, there is an outside chance that my 4L60E trans which (as of recently) starts out feeling 'ok' but once heated up after a few miles feels like it has no first or second gear might actually just be a wiring or PCM issue and not a blown trans?
It's a low mile (18k) trans with a small TC (2800 stall) behind a stock internal LS1 weighing under 3400 pounds with driver btw.

It was a blown fuse. A 20amp marked ENG SEN. And the front 02S ex was unpluged.

blown Engine Sensor fuse but all it was setting was 1 code? odd... the engine sensor controls the MAF, O2s and their heaters... normally if that blows it'll set all sorts of lights for the O2 sensors and MAF sensor ... which in turn will force the car into open loop 100% so it'll run for crap if not tuned for open loop operation

Your right it threw six codes. All the ones you said. I had alredy cleared them and that was the only left.
