Lc-1
Alright I've just read up on this wideband setup and wanted to know If I was right.
The LC-1 is pretty much for tuning with a laptop with like HPT(which I am getting) As for the LM-1 does the same but comes with it's own display and you have to get a RPM coverter to make it work on the labtop right?
I could get the XD-1 for some kinda display for the LC-1 right and still just use the labtop/HPT as a datta logger.
If I was to get the LC-1 w/XD-1 and HPT would I need anything else to data logg?

I *believe* (I haven't yet tried w/an LC-1 but I believe it's pretty similar to the LM-1) that that LC-1 will plug into the HPT just like any other Wideband... then HPT will do the RPM logging for you (as well as any other items you want to log that the PCM controls or that you input into the HPT cable)

no, you don't need the RPM Converter if you use HPT ... actually I don't think the RPM converter even works on the LC-1 ...
You only need an RPM converter if you want to use the LM-1 as a standalone system (for non OBDII cars or if you don't have a scanner that accepts inputs)

The RPM converter is only if you want to log the RPM inside the LM-1 (map RPM and AFR) ... HPT does this in the scan tool when you hookup the LM-1 (or any wideband) so you don't need the RPM converter.
now, if you want to use the LM-1 in a car that you don't have a scan tool for (or rather a scan tool that lets you plug external sensors into) then you'd need the RPM converter.
