Default LS1 EDIT question

My buddies and I are planning on getting LS1 Edit and 3 cables for our cars. Just wondering if their cars are 2002 models and mines an 01 will it still work for me?

Talking

I would go with FlashScan or HPTuner before spending big dollars for edit. Edit is in the dark ages compared with Flashscan.

^^^ ditto

LS1 Edit doesn't even come w/a scanner which both the above do. and the LS1 Edit licensing makes it practically useless once you're done (no resale)

Carputing's scanner is crap. I was hoping they would come out with a decent scanner but, that never happened. I traded in the LS1 Edit Cable and bought HP Tuners and 1000x happier with their product. It is nice only using one cable to scan and edit with.

Agree with the others.

I have Edit, and from I know, if you want to get 3 cables, you will all have to pay full price, isn't it? You only get ONE cable, which you share. Thats what I do with a guy currently.

HP Tuners all the way.

I use to use LS1 edit on my car, but I only had one choice then. Now I use HP Tuners on my car and everyone elses.

LS1 Edit is good and works fine, but HP Tuners gives you a better bang for the buck...

With our HP Tuner product you'll be able to tune both your friends 02 V8 F-bodies, your 01 V8 f-body and any other 01/02 V8 fbody you come across for only $499.

Dan
The tune is only as good as the person tuning it. What you will find is a lack of tunable parameters and the scanner data to display them.
Our scanner and editor are designed to make your job easier.

- 500 tunable parameters
- A scanner second to none
- No VIN or PCM locking
- Advanced 2bar Speed Density code option
- Advanced 1bar - Speed Density Enhanced code option
- Optional Enhanced interface (4 analog inputs and 2 driver outputs)
- User forum for tuning information/help
- V6 car support
- Integrated copy/ paste tuning from scanner to editor
- Bullet proof VCM data programming
- 2 min read, 27 second write times
- Top notch customer service
