Default Completed 1st SD tune log. Have question about editing VE table.

I have a 99'z and would like to know if need to make changes to my primary ve table, secondary, or both. I thought 99s run off the secondary.

Is there any way to speed up the process of making changes to individual cells in the ve able?

so basically, I compare the ltft and stft values in each cell from from the scan/log and then bring each cell in the ve table in the editor in line?

example for ltft sd tuning-
ltft in a particular cell is -12 from the scan. correspnding primary ve cell reads 55 in the editor.
computation
55 + -12 = 43. I would replace the 55 with 43 in that cell. Correct?

You expect feedback in < 4 hours late on a Sunday night?

To answer your question, if you have a secondary VE table as a choice you will probably need to use this for your SD tuning. I know my 1998 falls back on the secondary table when in SD mode...

The way I like to do it is load all of the data from my log into the histogram display, right-click the display and select Average, then copy the histogram. Open up the Primary VE table, right-click it and select Paste Special - Add. Switch to the 3D surface graph and hand-smooth it. Copy and paste each of the appropriate MAP rows into the secondary table. Notice though that the secondary table is at half the resolution of the Primary, so make sure you are copying and pasting the correct rows.
