umm..... w/PE disabled do NOT go WOT (unless you're tuning via wideband and are dialing everything in for 13.0:1 or so)

No PE, + Heavy Load = 14.63 commanded AFR = big boom

When PE is disabled you go extremely lean at WOT (or any TPS position and RPM that PE would normally activate on)... this means excessive cylinder temps... and very strong possibility of replacing the engine... do NOT use heavy throttle w/PE disabled unless you're using wideband open loop w/13.0 or so commanded AFR

so basically... yes w/power enrichment turned off... you will see a loss in performance... but I would not suggest testing it....

But wouldn't it also be looking at the Open Loop F/A table? So if that was set at 1.13 or whatever, that should keep you safe, right?

i was looking at the log and had no kr, never went wot, just a few high throttle hits. o2 voltage was pretty low i guess its trying to switch around 680 at those rpms and throttle. but the timing and kr was good? im gonna switch pe back on for when i go out today and try and get everythig in line. will i still bealbe to tune the VE fairly well with pe on? i mean its what i have done in the past but i have read about some who have been turning it off and was told thats the better way? let me knwo, thanks
