I want to get some tuning software, but really have no idea what to get. LS1 Edit and EFI Live seem to be the most common, but what do you guys think about them? Any preference or major selling points you have found? Excuse my unedjubactedness but I gots to start somewhere.

Don't even bother with LS1 Edit.

The main tuners right now are HP Tuners and EFI Live Flash Scan ... both are good products... I have used HP Tuners for well over a year now and really like it...

Like horist said, forget about Edit, its not even in the ballpark anymore. Both EFI Live and HP Tuners are nice programs as I have owned both. Read what each has to offer and see which one best suits your needs. Everyone has their own opinion on which one they like better, but in the end you are the one that has to use it. Purchase what you feel is the best for your needs. Both offer almost the same functionality but each is setup different and has their own licensing programs.
