Default 80 miles of driving...What kind of driving do I need???

Looking at my logs, you can see I have alot of empty spaces. How much more and what kind of driving do I need to do for the logs to be complete? ie:the cells to have numbers?

LTFT

STFT

Thanks for the help!

Jason

For normal cruise/driving, you need to hit as many cells in the 800-4000 range as possible. This includes all maps (15-105). Some you won't be able to hit, but you should be able to hit most of them.

It appears that you have some bad data at MAP 15 from 400-1600.. Make sure you disregard this before coping into the VE table as it isn't correct.

If you're doing this on the street versus a true load-bearing dyno, you'll need to find a long stretch of road where you can excersise all the throttle positions in each gear to hit as many cells as possible. Someplace where you can safely take your eyes off the road for a few seconds, place the current cell near your blank cells, and gently roll into the throttle to populate the empty cells. It's time consuming with a wideband, it seems like it'd be longer using the O2 sensors since they have to learn. Be safe!

Thanks guys for the replies!!!

Looks like I will have to do alot more driving...those 80 miles that I logged, was just short city driving. Looks like I need to spend more time on the freeway.

Thanks,
Jason

You need to do some runs where you go to redline at like 20% throttle to hit the high rpm lower map cells. Try accelerating from 30 to 80 or so in 5th gear at around 50% throttle to hit the bottom left corner. You might not be able to hit some of them without going into power enrichment anyway.
