Default P0140: Bank 1 Sensor 2 (not active)

ok, i'm lost here people... My SES light came on 1 month before i have to get it inspected..."murphy's law". the code is P0140, which is O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 2 no activity. the thing is, i have sims, and when i crawled under the car after turning the key on, the light on the sim is flashing, so i know it's getting juice, so what in the hell is causing this? I think i read somewhere in another forum to check the MAF sensor elements, but i couldn't find it again, so i fell like i'm SOL unless anyone can help. Much Thnx
PS- haven't checked the MAF sensor yet, cause i haven't had alot of time the past few days, but if you guys think it's a possibility, lemme know and i'll get on it.

Default

If you don't have scanning software to see what values are present from that sim, try switching them to see if the code gets thrown on the other bank. You may have a bad sim.
