Default Why Dynotune?

I have a stock '98 LS1 that has had the PCM edited to 2001/2 parameters. Can I expect to gain anything by having the engine dyno tuned?

We gained 13 rwhp and 12 rwtq with just the tune on a stock 99 LS1 TA. I think it was very worth it. Not to mention the engine running cooler and at its optimum spark advance and AFR. This is just in my opinion. Good Luck.
