Arrow Say you want to Desensitize your Knock Sensors.......

I see the tables but which ones do you adjust and what direction? This is one thing I never had to adjust until recently.

I use HP Tuner

I made the table knock sensor global gain map vs cyl from 65kpa up all 4.000

My knock is gone.

You can change the 1.0 to 2.0 and log, see if you have knock. I had to go to 4.0 to get rid of it.

Seems to work.

So basically, raising the limits makes them less sensitive? Makes sense...

Take a look at late model Corvette and 02 Camaro settings theirs is a lot less sensitive. You might go too far messing yourself. Id try factory first.

Using 4.0 gain at 55ish and higher MAP at 3200 and higher RPMs you have essentially turned off you knock sensors... You have set the delta so high in those areas you may never see any knock, no matter what. I hope you are sure it was false knock, otherwise you are beating the hell out of your engine...

With that said, should you just multiple the whole table by say +10%?

I would not change any cells where you are not getting the "false" knock. Find the cells where you are experiencing it at. Then pick a gain value, say 2, and change those specific cells to that value. Re-log and see if it went away. If it did go away, maybe try a slightly lower value until you get the false knock again. If the value is (for example) 1.6 where knock starts again add a couple of points, say .2 and go with 1.8...

Good luck,
