Question Tuner Options for a 96 LT1

Hey guys I've spent many hours searching and reading in this section. I can't seem to find many options for LT1's. What would be the best choice for a good tunning software that will also allow me to do diagnosic datalogging.

If this has been asked many times before, please point me in the right direction.

Thanks,
96Chameleon

I'd like to get some software ordered tomorrow if possible. Who is the LT1 tuning guru, maybe I could PM them for some advice?

Thanks,

The only choices I know about for 96, 97 LT1 OBD2s are LT1Edit and Tunercat. Tunercat will not be VIN locked and will cover both years with their definition file.

Thanks for the reply 2xLS1! I am hoping to find someone who has used both of them so I can get a better idea of which is better for my needs. Right now I am leaning towards the LT1 edit, but I haven't done enough home work on tunercats yet.

Go with tuner cat, I use it all the time and it covers any needs that I have ran across in my shop.

I have also used Edit many times and don't see the benefit.
