Default FLASHING SES light after header install...

I installed MAC mid-lengths on my 1998 Z (SLP lid and bellow, TB bypass, flowmaster cat-back with cutout) w/ NGK TR55 plugs and MSD wires on Saturday.

I have to get the exhaust fixed on Monday. The y-pipe has a three inch gap between it and the intermediate pipe with just a band clamp BARELY on it.

Now the car runs like crap (no power) and the SES light Flashes at me. It stays solid for awhile, flashes for awhile, stays solid for awhile, etc...

Would this huge exhaust leak cause it?

I have 99+ O2's on front and SIMMS on back, could these cause it?

Lastly I cut the EGR 1.25" where it protrudes into the intake, could this cause it?

Thanks.

99% chance you have a loose plug wire.

Actually, this is about the 15th header install...

WITH THAT SAID it's easy to much things up on your 15th header install when working on 4 hours of sleep in 100 degree Southern California weather.

I AM AN IDIOT ...

I left a plug wire unconnected!!!! I had unplugged it when putting the oil dipstick tube back in and forgot to put it back in.

I also had forgot to put the bolt back in my steering linkage!!!

Once again, don't work on your car with no sleep, dehydrated and delirious!

Thanks for your help guys, you got me to the cause of the problem !
