As stated, it won't.... but you may want to consider a trickle charger to keep your battery happy over winter (you can get some pretty cheap ones... they just keep the battery full over long periods of storage)

Heck, my battery dies within a month if I don't put a charger on it I've gotten into the habit of just removing the battery cables if I'm parking the car for a while.
