U1040 on a 2000 Camaro Z28 A4
So i sold my supercharger and put my car to pretty much stock. I had my puter flashed back to the tune i had before the supercharger. I got the puter back and put it in. I started it, drove around for awhile and everything seemed great. I parked the car and plugged in the efi live and scanned the car. I DID NOT get a SES light what so ever but when i looked in the puter with my scanning tool i noticed the code U1040 chillen there??? I know what it means but how does a code trip like that?? What would cause that to be in my puter?? Any help would be greatly apreciated. Thanks so much
Mods:
Mac Mid length headers
True duel exhuast
TR55 plugs
Stage 2 A4
3000 stall Torque converter
Thanks
Dan

yes i still have all that stuff and i checked the code again and it came up as
u1040-loss of ebcm/ebtcm communications
What is that EBCM and EBTCM??? I think that is where i am lost. I cleared it and it hasnt came back yet, but just incase it does. Maybe change some fuses first eh
Thanks for the response, oh and no the car is not cammed, just headers, duel exhaust, ngk tr55's, bigger taylor wires, stage 2 trans and a 3000 stall torque converter.
