Default How long to free-air calibrate LC-1 ??

OK, in the LC-1 manual it says to do a free air calibration (grounding the calibration wire) frequently. It says to ground the black wire for a brief time. My question is simple: how long a time is a "brief time". Are we talking 10 seconds, 30?? I just want to make sure my LC-1 is calibrated correctly before I do some VE tuning.

I just held mine down for a couple of seconds and was done with it...

Well, sure enough as soon as I post I hear from Innovate. They said 5 seconds is all it takes. Looks like your doing fine Steve.

Yeah...I've only done the free air calibration two times...once right before I put it in, and once when doing my last oil change. Seems to be working okay for me...the car is certainly running well, that's for sure.
