Default KR when getting off the throttle after going into boost

car only getting KR so far when I lift off the gas. I see it right at 105kpa in my scanner logs.

ignore the fact there is no data for boost, don't have that setup yet. it was only like 4 or 5 pounds.

any ideas?

Default Kr

I have also seen this on N/A cars with very large cams (T_TREX), just as you lift you will see some KR and even some lean spikes, I beleive this just to be false knock due to ??. The knock sensor is picking up some audible sounds from abruptly being at WOT to O, What it is I am not sure..

If it is only happening under boost (ie it didn't happen before forced induction) then I it could be compressor surging.

Do you have a blow-off or bypass for the system?

If not, or if it is small enough to generate flutter in your intake tract it may be setting off the knock sensor.

hmmm the bypass is pre IC, think it could be backing up due to that?
