o2 problems

o2 problems Got an autometer cobalt A/F guage and the o2 adapter harness. Well I get everything hooked up and the guage comes and LED's light up. Start the car, guage is still lit, but no LED's. I got out my predator and sure enough when the car is running there was no mv reading from the o2. So I take out the adapter harness plug the o2 directly into the extension, start up the car now the o2 sensor is reading like it should. There is only one way the adapter harness will plug up so did I just get a bad one? Thanks for any help.
