N/A Readiness Tests
More OBDII inspection questions.
I've noticed two of my readiness tests always display "n/a". I assume this is normal, as this has been the case as long as I can remember. I'm curious, though, to know if "n/a" would be considered "Incomplete" by an emissions inspection station.
I can't remember the name of the tests off the top of my head, but it seems one of them was something along the lines of AC Refrigerant.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Josh

N/A has no effect on it. Just the Incompletes. Some cars do not come with all the stuff other cars come with, so those options are usually N/A'ed. I believe the 01+ cars with no EGR show up as N/A for the EGR readiness test.

^^^ ditto... n/a means' not applicable for your vehicle (if it meant anything then every 01+ F-Body would fail because they have their EGR test set to N/a )
edit: I just noticed your avatar...
You will fail emissions horribly because of the n/a status.... matter of fact... n/a means "needs arrest" so if you test that car w/an n/a you'll be arrested... better sell it and buy a kia
DA (better record than the cheese packers) BEARS

Thanks for the info, guys. I passed the OBDII test today without a hitch.
As for you, Mr. Horist, rest assured that the Pack will bounce back and take the NFC North for the fourth straight year.
