new notes on idle airflow
ok so just sharing what i found out, may be old news but anyway...
i do start up tests and make airflow changes. well i found out that starting the car up with the coolant AND oil temps in the same range will net more consistent and accurate results. this is the best way to get idle airflow values.
but now is another culprit, if the friction airflow is off on start up that will throw numbers off until the airflow values decay to nothing. 60*c conditions were perfect but on a 60*c start up the airflow was off by a half a g/sec, added that to the friction airflow to fix it.
still trying to totally figure this out but this is what i have come to find out so maybe it will help some of you
