PCM RPM limits I've heard it said here that the PCM won't operate past 8000. I didn't do it on purpose, but I logged 8137 RPM over the weekend when my car wouldn't shift.

WOW!!!!!!!! I think the PCM uses the last fueling value in the 8k colum and applies that for values past that.
What were you doing to spin the motor past 8k and is it still together?
