Default EGR code help

hey guys, i'm throwing a code and i was wondering if you all could suggest what i can do to fix it.

the code is: P0405 - low voltage signal from EGR (voltage from EGR sensor "a" is too low for the current engine operating conditions).

any suggestions would be helpful
thanks in advance.

my suggestion? Take the damn thing off! Sounds like the EGR valve went bad. If it works fine, leave it off, but when they go bad, take it off!
