Default do i have to unplug maf

do i have to unplug the maf while uploading the new ve change or can
i just upload it with maf plug in.

You can leave it plugged in. It is just sending the info to your PCM so it doesn't care what's connected or disconnected as long as you have good battery voltage.

thanks man. texas ha, i go to spring break in galveston every year i drive from wisconni and hit houston speed way every night till 8 or so and then back to the beach for a all nighter , love it down there,,

No problem man. Texas beaches are fun especially in the Summer months.

Remember when you upload/flash the PCM that the car may run a little dizzy until it gets a feel for the changes. Especially when you mess with anything airflow related. If you make too many changes too quick you'll end up chasing your tale and wasting a lot of time. Ask me how I know

My 244/612 cam fires right up and idles great now. I let Chuck at HPE do the WOT A/F adjustments.

thanks tex for the info, its nice to no somebody no,s they answer.
houston speedway is much bigger then the one i goto to in wisc,
its called rock falls raceway.com. but when im down there i just feel
good , lots of bad f bodies down there and a nice speedway and
ect,been scanning with autotap and autoxray, but this is all new to me.
i under stand some of it. but trying to learn as much as possible , thanks
