Default Crazy idle, starting issues

Before - Last night i was blowing out my motor with an extension from my air compressor and i guess it hit something by the starter (the extension) and sparked, i checked my fuses and everything is good, i had my headers off at the time and when i put them back on i hit the coolent temp sensor so now its reading "high voltage" but the temp looks normal.
Problem - Since i had everything hooked up again my car has been acting weird, for the first time ever it had a problem starting, just turned over, so i let it sit and cranked it again after a few turns from the motor it started. When i start it it revs up to 2k, and about died at a stoplight once. Any ideas at all on this? thanks fellas
