issues with timing!!
seems no matter what i do, i keep getting knock at certain rpms in the same place. ive had too little timing and apparently too much. could anyone give me some suggestions as to what to try? is there a way i can use the timing histogram to aleveate this issue?

i had this problem.. first i thought it was my shiftet rattling.. but that was not the case...
try removing all the timing pulled in your traction control timing retard.... i did this and i think it is the traction control just pulling timing and giving false knock readings

Yeah you can track what is pulling the timing also check your knock sensor values against a late model stock tune. Often the older years have shocking values here which can cause timing to be pulled for no apparent reason.
