Default Disabling rear O2 w/ VCM Edit?

Have a bad CAT that is causing periodic hesitations, especially under heavy accel . Need to get it fixed soon. In the meantime, can I use VCM edit (have LS1) to disable rear O2 sensors? Also, if that can be done, aside from emissions, any drawbacks or negatives to disabling the rear O2 sensors?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

Yes, it can be done and there should be no negative affect. Those of us with longtubes have this done if we arent using sims.
