Default Question regarding LS1 edit?

My car is throwing a 02 sensor heater malfunction code and causing the SES light to stay on and no matter how many times I have it cleared it keeps coming back within 50 miles of driving. So my question is can I delete this code completely from my cars computer with LS1 edit or does it just clear the code? Thanks.

Ben,

Didn't I tune your car? Don't you have the C5 O2's for your front O2's? They are known for slow switching in F-bodys.

You can delete the codes but I wouldn't recommend doing it. Best bet is to replace the O2 with a true OEM F-body O2. Cost about $70.00.

Bill I had switched the 02's back but the code is still being thrown. My car was throwing the code before I put the Vettes 02 sensors in, so I dont think that they were the problem. Just getting sick at looking at the SES light, so I wanna get the code deleted for good. Thanks.

Since thats the case, maybe a wire got pinched/broke going to the O2 harness?

If you want, I'll take a look at it for ya...
