Default mail order tunes

Hey guys, im interested in getting into the the tuning business, and to start, the mail order tune. i was wondering if anyone can tell me whats the best way to connect a pcm that you recieve in the mail? obviously you dont have the dlc to use. do you use a donor car (remove that cars pcm and plug your pcm that needs to be tuned)? im afraid that kind of use would eventually kill the pins on a harness. anyone have any ideas or insight? it would be much appreciated.

You may purchase a standalone harness from speartech that will take care of your needs to do benchtop tuning. This way you receive the PCM in the mail, take it to your desk and hook it up. Flash the PCM and send her back. Easy as that.
