Default SES low EGR question

I just replaced the LS1 intake with an LS6, inturn removing the EGR. My question is the light came on saying low to none EGR reading which is expected, does this effect perfomance? Also someone was saying LS1's have an adaptive computer, is this true? Will my car "learn" theres no EGR and shut it off? Sounds kinda odd to me.

Thanks in advance

Should not impact performance...

And yes, they do have an adaptive computer, but EGR is an emissions thing so it'll stay there till you turn it off in the PCM (the adaptive part refers to fueling and spark)

Yeah, just have it deleted from the computer. No problems then.
