Predator tuner and stock LS2, car going into safe mode (Code P0601)?

Predator tuner and stock LS2, car going into safe mode (Code P0601)? Im trying to track down why my car was throwing a P0601 code. (Thats the Memory Check Sum Error code)
The car ran a factory Diablosport tune (v.7r92 to be specific) for about 1.5months. One day the car goes into safe mode and completely shuts down. Few minutes passes and the car starts back up, runs for a couple minuts and goes into safe mode again.
So I restore the stock tune and have it checked out. The car runs fine, no more codes.
So I put the factory Diablosport tune back in and it runs for 2-3 more weeks just fine. The it goes back into safe mode again. This time I get the code and find out its P0601.
So the car now has a new ECM, but I dont feel safe running the Diablosport tuner. I dont understand why the ECM would act up after running several weeks just fine. Is this an ECM hardware problem, or do I have a bad program from the tuner?
