RAF tuning in SD mode?
I'm getting drastically different RAF calculations with the spreadsheet depending on whether I'm in SD mode or have the MAF connected. How are you guys tuning your base running airflow?

get data in the mode that generates better fuel trims.
if you got it done right, they both should be identical. but if you're like most, you usually got VE done and you call it done, or didn't bother with VE at all and you use IFR/MAF to generate something close enough to be drivable. either case, remember that MAF/SD is just an airflow measurement, so it doesn't matter which one you use, as long at it's closer to describing reality.
