Default How much does it cost for tuning software?

I was thinking of getting my own tuning software but I don't know what I actually need and how much it will cost me.

To correctly tune a vehicle you will need the right tools. A wideband is a key tool in the tuning process and you need to make sure that the package you are looking at supports a wideband interface. Every one of EFILive's packages offer the ability to add on a wideband at no additional cost. You need to look and decide for yourself which package will suite your needs as they both can do the same things, its just how you get there. After using all of the tuning programs out there, I feel that EFILive has the best customer support as well as it is very easy to use for those just starting out. With EFILive you will pay a little more up front then if you went with HPTuners (at $499 you can't use a wideband), but in the long run it will be a better investment. Remember the old saying always holds true, you get what you pay for.
