Default Bad Bank 2 - O2, causing Bank 1 too lean?

I replaced a passenger side O2 sensor (Bank 2) about 2 years ago. Since the cable harness was not long enough, I sliced in an extension using the same single thread wire of the same guage and I used pich connectors.

Now I'm getting "too lean Bank 1" codes.

Question: If the Bank 1 - O2 sensor is giving faulty readings becuase of the slice, could it be casuing the PCM to lean the motor and provide the PO171 (too lean Bank 1) code?

Thanks..

Nah. I do have a monitor that can measure L-trims, however.

I'll see if I can do this.

Thanks...
